''Dead Hungry Diner'' is a single-player 2D Puzzle and Strategy video game for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X.〔 Developed by independent video game developer Black Market Games based in Derry City,〔 Northern Ireland, ''Dead Hungry Diner'' is digitally distributed through online game clients. A demo version was released to the public in January 2012.〔 The full version of the game was released on Monday, April 23, 2012. ''Dead Hungry Diner'' is the first commercial video game title to use Black Market Games' Logos Engine. ==Gameplay== ''Dead Hungry Diner'' consists of two single-player game modes; Story and Endless Mode. The Story Mode consists of five unique environments in and around the village of Ravenwood. Each of these 5 Worlds consists of 10 challenging levels.〔〔 ''Dead Hungry Diner's'' Endless Mode, termed "All-You-Can-Eat" includes 5 unique worlds. As the player progresses through the Single Player campaign, these Endless Mode worlds become unlocked. Wave-style gameplay, similar in fashion to "tower defense" mechanics challenged the player to achieve a high score before losing their lives as a result of monster customers leaving the restaurant prematurely.〔 The core gameplay experience revolves around the Player serving monsters food in as quick a time as possible. Efficiency and prioritization are key skills for success with game mechanics such as "streaks" - bonuses that occur when a series of similar tasks are executed in sequence, and pattern-matching where players may gain bonuses from placing monsters at theme-tables that match the monster's type, e.g. by placing a Vampire at a Vampire-themed table. A further mechanic, known as "Affection," was introduced to Dead Hungry Diner (post release), which involved monsters of a certain type, becoming love-struck by neighbours of a certain type. For example, placing a Mummygirl near a Vampire would result in the Mummygirl becoming love-struck. While in this state, Mummygirls will suppress their otherwise aggression towards any neighbouring Skellys. There are similar Affection dynamics between Werewolves and Skellys.〔 Each of the game's monsters have their own idiosyncrasies that dictate their patience, and dislikes. Monsters include: * Zombies * Angry Zombies * Vampires * Werewolves * Banshees * Ogres * Female Skeletons, "Skellys" * Female Mummys, or "Mummygirls" Spells become available to the player as they progress, offering the player an additional method of dealing with their customers. Spells include:〔 * Patience - increase an irrate monster's patience by a certain amount. * Speed - increase the rate at which the player's avatar navigates the level. * Zombify - polymorph a monster into a zombie, as zombies are a general monster that have no conflicts with other monster types. * Table Swap - swaps two groups of monsters that are seated at different tables. Can be used to move feuding monsters further apart. * Rain Cheque - kicks a monster out of the player's restaurant for a variable amount of time. Spells can also be increased in potency, buy purchasing Spell Upgrades. A gameplay trailer released via YouTube on December 5, 2011 which showcased a variety of monsters, spells and environments. ''Dead Hungry Diner'' also features Tongue-in-cheek & Slapstick-style humor and mild, cartoon violence as well as a series of in-game tutorials that introduce new players to the fundamental game mechanics. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Dead Hungry Diner」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
